Kids today. I use that phrase often. Generally it doesn’t refer to them being ingenious/maniacal enough to burn a tree their cat is in, but I digress. No, most of thee times I say “kids these days” because they start to annoy me. Most of the kids I know don’t know how to: change a tire, do the laundry, have a sense of style, read well, speak cogently, spell, perform most any useful task, or spell. I am aware I said they can’t spell twice, and I’ll add emphasis to my point by repeating it in a comma spliced sentence.

But maybe I just know the wrong kids.
