Where the Buffalo Roam is the first truly “Web” comic. It has not been updated for a while now, so the pop culture references aren’t exactly up to date (cite: a lady reading a newspaper and declaring, “How could we have elected Reagan?”).

This comic packs a lot of punch into a little space. Hans Bjordahl put enough content for a multiple frame comic into one, so things are a little crowded. I would liken it to Robin Williams as a webcomic, mainly because the humor is somewhat correlative, but also because there seems to be a lot said in a little space which leads to an almost erratic feeling on the part of the reader.

The comic above is very representative of the overall theme of Where the Buffalo Roam.
